Terms of Use

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By creating an account, submitting a payment slip, or using LEAGAS, you agree to these Terms, the Payment & Refunds Policy, and the rules shown at checkout. You also acknowledge the Privacy Notice. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. If you use LEAGAS for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.

2. Operator and contact

LEAGAS is operated by ZN CHOICE LAW HOUSE, Republic of Maldives, TIN 1043350NWT001. Contact us at support@leagas.org or +960 7783630. LEAGAS is the product name; ZN CHOICE LAW HOUSE is the contracting service provider.

3. The service

LEAGAS provides digital study materials, topic navigation, practice questions, explanations, source links, progress tools, and mock-exam features for Maldives Bar Exam preparation. The exact plan, price, access duration, and included features displayed at checkout form part of your purchase.

LEAGAS content is educational information, not legal advice. You remain responsible for checking official notices, legislation, cases, syllabus materials, registration rules, dates, venues, and examination requirements.

4. Your account

Access is linked to the Google account used to sign in. You must provide accurate information, keep your Google account secure, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised use. One subscription is for one individual unless the checkout expressly states otherwise. You may not share, sell, transfer, or make your account available to another person.

The email entered for verification updates is used for payment and activation communications. App access remains tied to the signed-in Google account even if a different contact email is supplied.

5. Purchase, verification, and access

1. Checkout displays the plan, total amount, access duration, bank account, and unique payment reference.
2. You make the bank transfer and submit a readable payment slip with accurate billing details.
3. We verify the transfer against our payment records. Uploading a slip does not itself prove that funds were received.
4. Once verified, we activate the subscription and email the access dates, billing details, receipt, and app link.

Your paid access starts on the activation date stated in our email and ends on the stated expiry date. The current bank-transfer plan does not renew automatically, and we do not collect card details or online-banking credentials.

A contract for the paid subscription is formed when we confirm verification and activation. We may reject an unreadable, duplicate, altered, mismatched, or unverifiable submission and will explain the next step where reasonably possible.

6. Fees, tax, and no-refund rule

You must pay the exact total shown at checkout and use the displayed reference. Your bank may charge separate fees. Any applicable tax will be shown on the checkout or billing document. Because LEAGAS provides short-term digital access and services, all sales are final and payments are non-refundable once made, except for a verified duplicate or overpayment, failure by LEAGAS to activate the purchased service, or a remedy that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. The Payments & No-Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.

7. Limited licence and acceptable use

During your active subscription, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use LEAGAS for private study. You must not:

• copy, publish, sell, sublicense, scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute protected content;
• share credentials or allow another person to take assessments through your account;
• reverse engineer, probe, bypass, or interfere with access or security controls;
• upload malware, unlawful material, or documents unrelated to payment verification;
• use automated systems to extract questions, answers, source mappings, or datasets; or
• use LEAGAS in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.

Reasonable personal notes and brief quotations for private study are allowed. All other rights are reserved.

8. Content, sources, and AI-assisted features

Law changes and source materials may contain ambiguity, translation issues, or publication errors. Some features may use automated or AI-assisted processing. Although we use review and source controls, we do not promise that every output is complete, current, or error-free. Verify important points against the linked primary source and official exam materials. Report suspected errors to support@leagas.org.

Your feedback may be used to improve the service, but we will not publicly identify you without permission. LEAGAS software, design, original text, question sets, arrangement, and branding are owned by or licensed to the operator. Third-party statutes, judgments, and official publications remain subject to their own legal status and rights.

9. Availability, changes, and suspension

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, security incidents, hosting failures, connectivity, force majeure, and third-party outages can affect availability. We may change features to improve quality, comply with law, correct errors, or protect security. If a serious service interruption is within our control, we may provide an access extension or service credit. A refund is available only under the limited exceptions in section 6.

We may suspend or terminate access for fraud, charge reversal, abusive conduct, unlawful use, credential sharing, or material breach. Where practical, we will give notice and a chance to correct the issue. Suspension does not affect accrued legal rights.

10. Third-party services

Google sign-in, hosting, database, email, and network services are supplied by third parties. Their own terms may apply to your direct relationship with them. We remain responsible for selecting and managing providers used to deliver LEAGAS, but we are not responsible for a separate third-party service outside our control.

11. Warranties and liability

LEAGAS is supplied with reasonable care and skill for study support. To the extent permitted by law, no warranty is given that using it will produce a particular exam or professional result. We are not liable for decisions made without checking official sources, or for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.

Where liability may lawfully be limited, our total liability arising from a paid subscription will not exceed the amount you paid for that subscription. This limit does not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of confidentiality or data-protection duties, or any liability that law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

12. Complaints, governing law, and disputes

Please email support@leagas.org first with your account email, payment reference, and a clear description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge a complaint within 2 business days and provide a substantive response within 10 business days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. The courts of Maldives have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer right to use another competent forum. Before starting proceedings, both sides should make a good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for legal, security, operational, or product reasons. The version accepted at checkout governs that purchase. We will give reasonable notice of a material change that affects an active paid term and will not apply a materially adverse change retrospectively unless required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.
